Scott Perrie is a Vancouver based actor, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.  He got his start at 9 years old performing in the choir in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.  A graduate of the Capilano Theatre Program, he's performed on stages throughout Western Canada, as well as in film and television including iZombie, Endgame, and Psych. In his early twenties, while continuing to persue his acting career, he started busking on Granville Island with his grandfathers Gibson J45 acoustic guitar.  Since then has toured across Canada, playing in living rooms, pubs, and festivals from coast to coast.

As a singer-songwriter he writes and performs original music as well as cover songs. He regularly gigs in Vancouver and Whistler and wherever the music takes him.  Playing a perfect blend of classic and contemporary material “his guitar plucking is clean and confident, and his smoothly soulful crooning is absolutely note-perfect” (Alex Hudson, Georgia Straight).  Scott has also been lead vocalist with some of Vancouver’s premier cover bands including Famous Players, and is currently a lead vocalist with Side One.

Perrie burst on the Vancouver indie-music scene as a lead-singer and songwriter with Redgy Blackout, and their Top 20 placement in the Peak Performance Project in 2011 and 2012. They disbanded soon after but Perrie continued to persue his solo career.  He penned and produced his debut solo EP Everything Gives in 2013. The EP is a collection of acoustic songs recorded live in a single day, and the song Elegy was nominated for an Independent Music Award in the social action category.

He met and fell in love with his wife Leora Joy performing in a production of The Buddy Holly Story, and a year later they formed the indie-folk duo Winsome Kind after travelling and performing on board VIA Rail accross Canada in 2013.  They returned home to Vancouver where they recorded and released their debut album in 2014 to rave reviews; “The folk-pop affair is rife with vibrant harmonies, and there's a candy store's worth of sweet melodies” (Andrea Warner, CBC).  Winsome Kind recently released a new holiday single “Sweet Second”, and they continue to book shows and are currently working on new material for their second studio album.
